BIOGRAFIA

 

In 1987, in Conegliano (Treviso) he opened the second Negroni Jazz Club which he ran until 1994. Once again, the club became a music studio for performances and musical seminars by such musicians as Howard Johnson, Rick Margitza, Elias Meiri, Joe Diorio, Steve Masakowski, Jerry Bergonzi, Adam Nussbaum, Maurizio Gianmarco, Mike Goodrick, Bob Mover, Paolo Dallaporta, Giulio Capiozzo, Betti Vittori, Harvie Swartz, Gary Caffee, Bruce Foreman and Kurt Rosenwinkel.

In 1990, Negroni spent a several  months in Northeastern Brazil performing  with Italian singer, Enrica Bacchia. There he became acquainted with many local musicians and increased his knowledge of traditional Brazilian Music and bossa nova.

After 1995, Negroni again divided his time between Italy and Southern California (Santa Barbara and Los Angeles). He began performing in clubs with various musicians such as Peter Clark, Hank Allen, Ruben Martinez, Renč Martinez, Cougar Estrada, Jan Peters, Raul Rico Jr., Leroy Ball, Teka Penteriche, Keiko Takeda, John Slais, Randy Tico, Ruben Estrada, Lin Cook, Jerome Smith, Chris Judge and Joe Wilson.

In 1999, he performed on a television telethon with entertainer and actor David Rasche.

Also in the summer of 1999, he participated in the Santa Barbara International Jazz Festival.

He was also invited to play on a number of recording sessions:

- traditional jazz with pianist, singer and composer/arranger  Peter Clark.

- smooth jazz at the Sound Desing studio in Santa  Barbara with Dominic Camardella, another excellent pianist/composer, Jeff Elliot (trumpet) and the legendary Airto Moreira.

Since 1998, in Italy, he has participated in a music project called "Guitarland". It was formed by six guitar players of different guitar styles: Massimo Scattolin on classic guitar, Bruno Gennaro flamenco, Stefano Scutari samba and bossa nova,  Negroni Alberto jazz, Tolo Marton country blues and Luciano Bottos fusion. The first "Guitarland" CD was released in 1999.
